About the Opportunity

The District of Lake Country has an exciting opportunity for a casual Customer Service Clerk, based in Lake Country, BC.

 

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, you will be responsible for clerical assistance, including records management as well as knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient customer service for internal and external customers.

 

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited:

  • Receive complaints and requests and forwarding to the appropriate department or agency for response
  • Proficiency in receiving and processing payments including postdate cheque batching and EFT’s
  • Ability to book municipal facilities and program spaces and sell theatre tickets, bus passes, dog tags, etc

More About You

To qualify for this role, you must have a minimum of one year toward a college diploma in office administration, business administration, public administration, or a related field. Additionally, one year experience in a municipal setting.

 

As our ideal candidate, you have an exceptional ability and skills to tactfully deal with internal and public inquiries with courtesy and tact in explaining or exchanging information, with sound organization and time management skills.
